I'm currently entering the 3rd trimester of my pregnancy and am considering making my own panty liners to use for the remainder of pregnancy and some super absorbent ones for postpartum mommy time (ew...). Hi Everyone,

I am new to this community and really excited that I found it.  I just bought some bamboo batting to use as soaker material in my mama pads.  I was curious if anyone has used this before and if you can give me any input?  For instance, I'm sure it will shrink when washed.  I am planning on washing before I sew it up, but I'm scared it ( Read more... )

Well I did it! LOL - this is my first attempt at making mamacloth.  It has a top layer of flannel, 4 layers of diaper fabric.  I used a stained prefold and cut a pad out of each side (which had 4 layers) and a pad out of the middle (which had 6 layers) - so I got 3 pad cuts out of one prefold.  hidden PUL and backed in fleece.  I'll put a snap on ( Read more... )
